Postal desde el Mar

Hola a tod@s, soy Aurora.

Aquí estoy, en la playa con my family, y se me ha ocurrido que en lugar una tarjeta o un tag podría hacer algo tan veraniego como una postal!

Here I am, on holiday with my family at the beach, and I thought that instead of a card or a tag, what could be more summery that a post card!

Para este trabajo, he elegido la preciosa sirena de Alicia Bel. Sí, es que no me dio tiempo a pintarla cuando fue reto de la semana y me moría de ganas. Como me he traído poco material, decidí hacer un fondo con acuarelas y un poco de gesso, y después pegué arena de la playa con cola blanca, para hacer el fondo marino. Además he utilizado algunas formas troqueladas, cristales autoadhesivos coloreados con Y08, liquid pearls, stickles, un trocito de gasa y algunos tesoros arrastrados por las olas.

For this project, I chose Alica Bel's lovely mermaid. Yes, I didn't had time to colour her before and I was looking forward to it. Because I didn't brought that much materials with me, I decided to make a background with water colours and some gesso, and then glued in some beach sand to make the sea floor. I also used some die cut shapes, adhesive crystals coloured with Y08, liquid pearls, stickles, a piece of cheese clothe and some sea treasures brought by the waves.
