Coloreando Hadas - Tutorial

Hola a tod@s! Soy Aurora.
Hi there! This is Aurora.

Today I'm here with ans easy tutorial on how do I colour fairy wings.
I like to colour them as if they were insect wings, with bright clear colours for suggesting transparency.
In order to do it, I chose images with different types of wings and I made step by step colouring of each one of them.

For the first example, I chose an image with fairy simple wings ;)
I started by colouring the base or root of the wings with the most saturated colour, followed by a brighter colour
and finished with a touch of colourless blender 0 to blend in the end.
List of colours shown above.

The second image has larger wings and therefore I decided to colour them in two colours.
I started with pink, using the most saturated colour to highlight the internal lines
and then the brighter colour to colour about half the wing with light strokes.
Then I used a blue-green to colour in the same way from the base to the middle and tried to blend the pink in.
Colour codes listed above.

The following image has wings composed by many segments, but I used exactly the same technique.
I coloured the base of each segment with a colour (two different saturations this time)
and then coloured the tip with another colour blending in the middle.
Colours used listed above.

In this image, I went for some whimsical, colourful wings.
I chose different colours, and from each, one brighter and one slightly more saturated tone.
This time I applied first the lighter colours, then the darker ones and then the lighter again.
Followed by the lighter blue and the colourless blender to blend them all in.
List of colours and order of application above.

Finally, I chose an image with a background that would show through the wings.
I started by colouring the wings like in the segmented wings example, but using only one colour.
Then I coloured the bush behind using all the same colours except the most saturated one.
Finally, I repeated with a coat of my lighter colour used in the wings and some light strokes of the colourless blender to help the colours to blend in more.
List of colours and order of application above.

At the end, my favourite detail is to add a coat of glitter glue.
After all, what would a fairy without glitter be?

And until here my explanation on how do I like to colour fairy wings.
However, there is many more ways to colour them, however you prefer or your imagination suggest.
